Would you like to have an amazing 360° view of the city without a huge tourist mass? Then Búnker del Carmel is the perfect view spot for you and most importantly it is totally free!
Búnker del Carmel is located on top of a mountain called Turó de la Rovira, in the district of El Carmel. The bunkers were built for the Spanish Civil War and therefore it is not only a viewpoint but also a historical site.
To make best out of this viewpoint, it is highly recommended to go there on a clear day and before the sunset. You can see the city in daylight as well as the amazing sunset and after that the magical city lights.
It is the perfect spot to have a little picnic while enjoying the magnificent view and atmosphere. In our opinion this is one of the best viewpoints in Barcelona due to the fact you can see pretty much everything from Sagrada Familia to Tibidabo.
It is quite easy to get there; if you are up for a little walk up to the mountain, take the metro line 4 to Alfons X or if you want to get closer to the spot, take the bus 24, V17,92 or 119.
Gather your friends, pack a little snack and drinks and go enjoy your evening in one of the prime spots of Barcelona!
